How soon can I expect to get my order?
Depending on how soon we sort out your particulars and actually have them ready for printing, we foresee no more than three business days to ship off your certificate or letter. We also have to factor in the different locations around the world where these items will go. With that consideration in mind, we have various shipping options. The mode of shipping you utilize will determine the length of time it will get to you. You can choose from first class USPS 10 to 14 days and/or priority mail 2 to 3 business days.
Do you have a return or exchange policy in place?
Yes. We strive to make you, our customer, as happy and pleased as can be, but because not everything in life is foolproof, we have in place certain provisions to offset any potential errors. Should you discover a mistake you have made when we processed your information for your certificate or letter, we will be happy to rectify the matter before long, issuing you a replacement. I know what I want to say, but I can never seem to
get those words on paper.

We work with people who have submitted their work, ready to put on certificates, and we also work with clients like you who need a little prompting to make those creative thoughts transform into words of affirmation. We also strive to write for your intended audience. Therefore, a 70-year-old grandmother would not read the same lingo on her certificate intended for a 19-year-old college student, and vice versa.

What unique thing can you do for my name
to set me apart from the crowd?
First, we will try to generate as much information about you as best as possible to get a feel for just who you are as an individual. Do you like a special lake, season, or flower? How about a particular bird, tree or fruit? One lady changed her middle name to Mosselle in tribute to the river, which flows through Germany, Luxemburg, and France. She continuously sees herself coursing through life this way, undisturbed. We are not short of encomiums to position your name for greatness. We will work with you until you are satisfied.
What does a proofreader really do?
Proofreaders, for the most part, work onsite, primarily at law firms and financial houses. They proofread documents attorneys or financial analysts submitted, and then compare those printed documents (masters) against the ones a word processor created. Proofreaders look for errors in grammar, spelling, consistency, and must be familiar with specifics in the field of work they choose. For example, a legal/financial proofreader should have working knowledge about litigation documents, agreements, contracts, SEC documents, EDGAR filings, etc. They should have knowledge of the Blue Book, blacklining, redlining, and team reading. Seasoned proofreaders can work on other kinds of documents found in publishing, advertising, among other editorial work.
What is the difference between proofreading and editing?
People tend to use the two terms, proofreading and editing, interchangeably, but the difference is simple. And again, proofreaders merely look for grammatical mistakes, spelling, word order, agreement, etc., while editors look for any means by which your document can be improved. In other words, editing is the highest order of the proofreading service. Editors change text at will, while proofreaders query authors.
Do you have specific sizes for your certificates or letters?
Our certificates and letters all come in the same size: 8-1/2 x 11 inches. In the future, we will be coming out with pocket-sized ones, too.
Can I get a bird’s eye view of my certificate or letter
before I purchase same?
We are very strong advocates of the caveat emptor principle, but for the sake of proprietary materials, we cannot show the full printout of our product at random without our having some forms of agreement beforehand regarding purchasing of our goods and services. We will be more than happy to show you a few samples of some of the works we have done in a generic way, while at the same time preserving our customers’ privacy.
What are your proofreading fees like?
We consider our fees quite reasonable. In fact, we challenge you to find better! As a guideline, our basic rates begin at $7 per page. For estimating purposes, a page contains 250 words. Please contact us to review your requirements. In the meantime, get a quick quote from us.
